கூரிய, கூர் adj. sharp. கூரியது, that which is sharp. கூரியவாள், a sharp sword. கூரியன், a judicious and skilful man. கூர்ங்கண், sharp, piercing eyes. கூர்மை மழுங்கிப்போக, -கெட்டுப்போக, to grow blunt (as the edge or point of an instrument). கூர்மையாய்க் கேட்க, to be quick of hearing. கூர்மையாய்ப் பார்க்க, to look narrowly or intently. கூர்ம்பல், a sharp tooth. புத்திக்கூர்மை, intellectual acuteness.
வலி - Vali
